Day 2
Welcome to day 2 of Twexplode – a mini guide on how to explode your twitter following.
Get excited – within 24 hrs from now you should have at least 500 new followers. Some of you will experience as much as 3x that number. What you are about to learn is extremely powerful and one of the main reasons I was able to become the fastest growing non-celebrity on twitter.
Before you take any of the steps you are bout to learn, take note – your may have different results than I or others have experienced. There are many different variables that will dictate your outcome. Things like how many tweets you’ve made, how old your account is, How many people you are following, How many are following you, etc.
Before you implement any of the steps below – be sure to do everything that was mentioned in day 1.
If you just opened your account, It is a real good idea to tweet at least 15 times before taking the steps below.
One last thing, if you want to drive a lot of traffic to your site, blog, facebook account – go to http://tweetlater.com and register. Once registered Click on “add account” then add your twitter account and it will give you an option to automatically send a DM to all new followers. This can be incredibly powerful if you want to drive a lot of traffic your way. Upgrade to the pro version via the free trial and explore. This is one bad-ass software. Im gonna do a video on how to use it, trust me its awesome.
Be sure to think of something clever to say in your DM. Something compelling that will get them to click on your site. Use your imagination, if you can figure out a way to make the DM about them, and somehow mention your link – your golden.
On to the goods….
Did you think about your target market yesterday? If you know your target market -then you are ready.
Ask yourself this question – “Who would my target market follow?” For example, if your a blogger – search for bloggers like Pete Cashmore or Darren Rowse – Use the search function on twitter.
Use http://www.search.twitter.com to find them. Remember, if your searching for someone by first and last name -if you don’t find them by searching with a space between their first and last name (joe blow) then search for them with the name together (joeblow).
For more advanced users try Twellow.com . Twellow has a category function that you search for individuals within certain markets or categories. It is really good, and will give you tons of people to pick from.

twitter follow followers
Next, go to that persons twitter profile. Click on his followers link and you are home free. Begin clicking one at a time, and add to your hearts content. Click as many as you can, add every single last one of them if you can. I know it seems like a lot of work, but its worth it. About 40% of the people you follow will follow you back. If you have a good profile your results may be a lot higher. Also if your niche knows who you are, you can expect results as high as 70% return follow rates
<—Click right there to see all there followers
You may reach a limit of 2,000 max following. If you tweet less or your account is brand new -you may be limited at a much lower number. The lowest i have seen on a 1 day old account is 999. Don’t worry about hitting the limits. They are there for a reason and believe it or not, its a good thing they are in place. Ill explain more about how to get around these limits and why they are a good thing in day 3
If you don’t want to manually click every follower – you can try HUMMINGBIRD -This sweet little tool will automate
the whole process. Check it out, if you serious about growing a big following fast. I use it and it works very well! It used to take me about 2 hours to follow 1k people, At first its ok manually adding people but for me after doing this over and over I really have found this tool to be a huge bonus. -With HUMMINGBIRD it takes about 2 minutes to log in find your following and click the follow all button. And no, your not breaking any rules. It is fine with twitters terms of service. I would recommend getting it asap. Trust me, you’ll thank me later. One more thing to note, when using…………(continued inside mini course)
