My Office – Where I Tweet from

Posted by seanmalarkey on June 25, 2009 at 6:37 am.

Here is my office. This is where a lot of  Twixplode was written. I place I come when I feel like getting out of the house and changing environments.

Have you heard of Co-working? Co-working in simple terms is a shared office space. This office is full of Entrepreneurs, who are doing their thing. Mostly internet business minded people work here, its great to be in an environment like this. It has a very nice community feel to it.

Check out the video of my space.

Everyone here is on Twitter, into social media, in fact several of the businesses that operate from here revolve around social media. Its a fun time, I feel blessed to be surrounded by like minded individuals. Its inspiring.

.

Heres some more info on co-working. I highly recommend this type of office for Entrepreneurs.

Thanks for sharing :) I like that you personalize your training. I just moved over to KW Commercial because I was trying to work out of my house while my wife runs a different business. I was asked to help her while trying to focus on what I need to do. Your tweeter training is awesome!

The video is a cool idea. Was there someone there with you to hold the camera for the video? What camera do you use?

Hi Sean, The 4-day twitter email course is absolutely great! And well presented!

Just wanted to let you know I purchased Chris Freville's Coaching Course about 6mths ago. The course is great and others seem to progress. However, being a newbie myself, I was abit overwhelmed by it all and froze when I came to set up aweber!

Sean, I have found your email course extremely easy to digest and follow - without fear! Just thought I would let you know.

    Kind regards to your family.

Great video Sean! I truly appreciate the insight. May I take the opportunity to thank you for the training emails re twitter account set up. I am applying what I've learnt thanks to you. I have to admit, I am a twittaholic! Kind regards.
  • Hi Todd,
I signed up a few days ago and have gotten a lot of info from you. But I couldn't resist when you sent a video of your office. Very cool. the best part is that it was designed and furnished almost exactly like my old house that was nicknamed "the studio". I would be right at home there. Our new space is creative for sticviews and inventing new uses for stic on graphics, skins, and print decor.

    Enjoy,

  • Sean, You have a cool space to work out of. Love the door out too the street.
  • Hi Sean,

truly inspiring, the same goes for Mikes post! I really love the concept of Twixplode! BTW: did you know that TWIX in Germany - where I live - is some chocolate snack like Snickers? Funny, huh?

I always dreamed of working from home, but when I see that video it comes to my mind that I dreamt of working for myself in an inspiring workspace. Something like you do and which I only know from the Deisgners Magazines of my best friend (he's a Graphic Desinger).

Lovely post and as always, don't plan to low. My plan for the next 12 months should not to reach 1.000 or 2.000 followers but 10.000 or 20.000 or even more.

Thanks for the inspiration and good night! :-)

  • I love you Sean, I really do. Firstly you talk in such normal lingo I can understand.
Secondly , do you know what busy head syndrome is? Yep you got it you just can't sleep for forward planning...... last night couldn't sleep at all,
I was re-planning my house in order to make it into a functional office! (I need to accommodate 2 writers, an admin for Twitter, and a photographic desk as well as a web designer . How on earth could I do it?

Your e mail arrives.... video of your office space. That'll do! Thanks Buddy just what I needed.

My business plans rely on me getting 100,000 followers on Twitter within the next 12 months. Any news on Hummingbird for Mac osx yet?

    Kind regards
    Mike Wheeler
