I was using socialoomph to auto follow but I'm hearing it's not good to auto follow so I stopped it so I can only follow those that I want to hear from…I'm in Real Estate…specifically short sales & foreclosures

We've heard from many people and have experienced ourselves the overbearing nature of spam via dm. We've also seen alot of @reply spams. We offered some ways to combat both on our blog at www.twitterfools.com. However, until now we were not aware that SocialOomph is allowing tweeps to opt out of their auto dms. Very cool. Thanks for the tip - we'll probably blog about it and link back to you here. Thanks!

Believe me they are working on it! Its a delicate balancing act for them as they are trying to welcome business's and the ability to promote….

For me the easiest solution would be a “flag this” button for a tweet or profile – And some sort of algorithm that notifies them to look into the account and ban it.

By simply adding that they would be giving the power back to the people who have helped make their community so great.
